CONSUMERS SYSTEM LIMITED WARRANTY



Armstrong Microsystems, Inc. warrants that the hardware is free from defect in materials and workmanship for a period of one year. This warranty includes technical support by phone and 30 day onsite service beginning on the date of invoice and covers the system as it was originally purchased.

Onsite service warranty consists of next in line service and should not exceed 72-hour response time. Onsite service covers hardware problems not resolved via telephone support and is limited to replacing parts to correct defects covered under the warranty. Onsite service is not available for mice, monitors, keyboards and similar external components connected to the system. This warranty does not cover: Software; speakers external devices, accessories or parts added to the system after purchase.

Monitors, printers and scanners are not considered part of the system and carry a separate warranty from the manufacturer. Accessory peripherals and special order items may be subject to exclusive rights of the manufacturer and may require direct handling from the end user to the manufacturer.

Extended warranties are available at additional charges.

AMI will repair or replace defective parts at our facility. Any replacement part or product will be new or reconditioned, comparable in function and performance of the original part and is at AMI's discretion the replacement part does not extend this warranty.

1. Exclusions: This limited warranty covers normal use. AMI does not warrant and is not responsible for:

2. Damage caused by a power surge, feedback from telephone lines or disaster such as fire, flood, wind, earthquake or lightning.

3. Damage caused by impact with other objects, dropping, falls, spilled liquids or immersions in liquids.

4. Damage caused by third party programs, data, viruses, or failure to back up your data. This includes consequential damages or downtime resulting from the loss of data or component failure. All backups of data are the responsibility of the end user.

5. Damage caused by any other abuse, misuse, mishandling or misapplication.

6. Incompatibilities resulting from consumer adding accessories, peripherals or software after purchase.

7. AMI's responsibility is limited to the reinstallation of the operating system software purchased with the original system.

All warranty claims are to be accompanied by a copy of the original invoice. AMI reserves the right to charge a clerical fee not to exceed $20.00 in reproducing the original invoice.
